Josielyn has a decade of experience as a registered nurse in emergency medicine. In 2021, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Roseman University of Health Sciences. Her acute care background has seamlessly transitioned into chronic pain management, where she is committed to help patients enhance their quality of life and discover hope in their healing process.
Dr. Chase Beal, D.O. Dr. Chase Beal is a double board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine. He is dedicated to improving his patients’ overall quality of life through a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to care.
Dr. HeeRak Kang believes in a holistic approach to patient care with a focus on both function and quality of life. He specializes in diagnosing and treating chronic pain conditions using advanced, minimally invasive techniques under image guidance (fluoroscopy). Dr. Kang was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Fairfax, Virginia as a child. Dr. Kang graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked at Welch Allyn (Hill-Rom) as an engineer for nine years before switching careers to medicine after a death in the family.
Leigh received her undergraduate degree and postgraduate training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in 1983 from the Physician Assistant program with a surgical emphasis. She worked in Chicago in cardiac surgery for 7 years before relocating to Las Vegas in 1990.
Dr. Carolina Issa joined Nevada Comprehensive Pain Center in 2015, as the Director of Clinical Operations. Originally trained as a medical doctor and clinical researcher, she brings significant operational experience to the Executive Team.
As the Clinical Operations Executive Assistant, Stephanie oversees the daily operations of all clinics and ensures that both patients and teammates receive the highest level of support. She strives to ensure patient excellence and that quality care delivery is provided throughout the organization. A proud Nevadan, born and raised in Las Vegas, Stephanie brings a strong sense of community and dedication to her work.
