Meet our Medical Staff | Pain Management Physicians Las Vegas

Dr. Andrew Kelner has joined NVCPC to practice at our North Las Vegas location. He originates from the East Coast, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology, and worked for a preclinical research organization assisting in pharmaceutical research and development. Incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to managing pain, which includes medications, interventions, complementary therapies, and partnering with other specialists, is at the foundation of Dr. Kelner’s approach to creating a thorough treatment plan.

Dr. Chase Beal, D.O. Dr. Chase Beal is a double board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine. He is dedicated to improving his patients’ overall quality of life through a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to care.

Dr. Dennis Nguyen has joined NVCPC to practice at our Henderson location. He originates from Los Angeles, California where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at University of California Irvine. His passion for patient care led him to medical school, where he attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

Dr. Grant Karno was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from the University of California, Davis, (UC Davis), followed by completion of preliminary training in General and Trauma Surgery at a UCLA affiliated hospital. Dr Karno’s resume includes serving as an attending physician at SUNY Upstate University Hospital, and Syracuse VA Medical Hospital in New York.

Dr. HeeRak Kang believes in a holistic approach to patient care with a focus on both function and quality of life. He specializes in diagnosing and treating chronic pain conditions using advanced, minimally invasive techniques under image guidance (fluoroscopy). Dr. Kang was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Fairfax, Virginia as a child. Dr. Kang graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked at Welch Allyn (Hill-Rom) as an engineer for nine years before switching careers to medicine after a death in the family.

Leon Perel, MD has resided in Las Vegas since 2013. Dr. Perel was born in Brazil and moved to New York City in 1996 with his family. He then attended medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Anesthesia and Critical Care at George Washington University, in Washington, DC and obtained his Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine from Johns Hopkins University.
