In response to the COVID-19 outbreak and in an effort to minimize transmission, protect our team and patients, and preserve our ability to provide quality care, we have devised the following protocols:

Telemedicine Visits

We are advising and encouraging new and existing eligible patients of our telemedicine capabilities. Patients have been and will continue to be advised of the service and schedule

Modified In-Person Visits

For patients who are not eligible for telemedicine services, or need to be seen in person, we are taking the following precautions and steps to ensure the safety of our patients and staff:

  • If patients arrive at the office ill, or exhibit respiratory symptoms, the visit will be cancelled. Stay home if you are sick
  • Customary patient vital signs will not be measured (weight, pulse oximetry)
  • No prescriptions will be provided without an initial appointment
  • You may be asked to wait in your vehicle until the medical provider is ready to see you
  • Have any visitors or your driver wait in the vehicle; do not bring anyone inside the building unless for mobility or translation reasons
  • Medical providers will be using protective equipment during visits (masks, gloves, etc.)

Front Desk Precautions:

  • Will minimize direct contact with patients
  • Will provide hand sanitizer at front counter for patients
  • Will provide separate writing utensils for patients and staff
  • Will ensure waiting areas and high-touch surfaces are sanitized frequently
  • Hand washing /sanitizing is strictly enforced

Our team is closely monitoring for potential signs or symptoms of COVID-19, and individuals who may be ill are being sent home

We will continue to monitor and take proactive measures to mitigate potential impact due to the virus, and follow regulatory requirements to ensure the utmost in safety.
