Melissa Dowding is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across clinical operations, human capital management, insurance contracting, and strategic business development. Known for her energetic problem-solving approach and her ability to unite teams, Melissa has built a reputation as a trusted leader, consensus builder, and operational strategist.
For the past 15+ years, Melissa has played a central and influential role in NVCPC’s transformation and expansion. Now serving as Chief Operating Officer, she oversees enterprise-wide operations, strategic partnerships, business development initiatives, contract negotiations, capital planning, and the alignment of organizational goals across all clinical and surgical locations.
Melissa’s leadership has been instrumental in building NVCPC into the largest pain management group in the state of Nevada. Her ability to develop high-performing teams, streamline operations, secure strategic contracts, and lead large-scale initiatives continues to drive the company’s long-term growth and success.
On a personal note, Melissa is happily married, a proud mother of three children, and a devoted grandmother to two grandchildren. She loves to travel and spend time with her family. She often expresses deep gratitude that her role at NVCPC provides her with a healthy work-life balance, allowing her to be fully present both in her career and with the people she loves most.
