Leon Perel, MD
Anesthesiology – Pain Management – Addiction Medicine
Dr. Perel was born in Brazil and moved to New York City in 1996 with his family. He then attended medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Anesthesia and Critical Care at George Washington University, in Washington, DC and obtained his Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine from Johns Hopkins University.
Throughout his education Dr. Perel has received numerous awards; and while in Residency he was awarded the prestigious Weintraub & Epstein Awards. Dr. Perel participated in numerous research projects since the beginning of his education ranging from clinical and educational research. His numerous contributions have helped advance important topics in the field of pain management.
Dr. Perel is an avid lover of sports and played semi professional soccer in Brazil. He comes to Las Vegas with his wife and family, and is seeing patients at our Summerlin Campus.
