Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Julie Woodward was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2016, with oversight of the company’s end-to-end operational delivery. In her role, she ensures succinct organization management, performance enhancement, strategic vision, and companywide business growth efforts.
Additionally, she is responsible for leading clinical programs and operational processes that drive the highest quality of care. She works to identify and implement best practices to improve quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, team engagement and supports innovative approaches to engage populations.
Recently, she led clinical and medical group operations for Optum Medical Group as the organization’s Chief Operations Officer and Chief Clinical Officer. Prior to this role, she practiced and lead operations for HealthCare Partners Nevada and Johns Hopkins. She brings an impressive background and over 14 years of experience in healthcare operations and medical practice. She possesses a deep passion for creating healthcare delivery that is patient-centric—delivering quality and efficient care while meeting 21st-century healthcare challenges.
Dr. Woodward is a board certified nurse practitioner and MBA with clinical and business acumen. Additionally, she possesses a medical doctorate and doctorate in nursing practice degree that emphasizes the integration of evidence-based medicine into clinical practice.
